Kris Shepherd, Sales Manager
Kris has 20 years of progressive experience in sales, specifically business-to-business sales, and customer service. Kris spent 10 years in the financial industry promoting banking products and services at CIBC. During that time, he achieved the top sales and service representative, leading his team in sales volume and revenue for two years. As a sales leader, he worked for six years managing division-wide sales campaigns, developing sales tools, identifying best practices, and building successful relationships with other team members. He then used his proven sales skills to service marketing partners and increase overall sales volume and monthly revenues for VOXCOM as their national sales manager. His effective communication skills and practical sales background make him an invaluable member of the team.
J. Rock Palmer, Business Development
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Rock began his career in the contract furniture industry. His past roles involved selling products and services to clients in various industries, including government. Rock's broad business experience includes product branding and distribution for niche markets and implementation of best practices, quality initiatives, and cost-reduction strategies. He has also developed supply chain and distribution networks for architectural products and ergonomic seating throughout North America. He has worked closely with architects and other professionals to deliver well-planned workspace environments for major projects, several of which targeted LEED standards. Rock has coached youth sports and has held membership in various service clubs in his community.
Darcy Braun MSc, PEng, PE, Principal Engineer

Darcy Braun is the former vice-president of business development for Operation Technology, Inc. in California and current owner of ETAP Canada Ltd. Darcy has significant experience in the design and analysis of electrical power systems. His work experience has included analysis of almost every sector of power systems from nuclear generation, mining, and oil and gas to heavy industrial and utility power systems. A registered professional engineer in Alberta, Canada and California, Darcy is also a 15-year member of IEEE with senior status. He is a certified Advanced ETAP Power System Analysis instructor (one of ten worldwide), as well as a former instructor for Fluke Electronics Canada, Power Quality Seminars.
Darin Hucul, PEng, PEC, Principal Engineer

Darin Hucul has 20 years of experience in industrial design engineering, project management, and engineering management. He has worked in the transportation, utility, cement, petro-chemical and oil sands sectors. From 2001 to 2006, he was a partner and electrical department manager for Techna-West Engineering Ltd. His major clients have included Agrium, Suncor, ATCO Power, Edmonton Power, Petro-Canada, Duke Energy, Honeywell, and Heidelberger Cement. Darin is also an instructor for ETAP Power System Analysis. He has authored three IEEE papers, presented at international conferences, and has been active in electrical standards development. Darin is a current member of the Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta.
