Microbial Remediation and Waste Management: Safe-One™
AC Environmental is proud to offer Safe-One™, a custom-blended, liquid microbial that reduces odours by metabolizing ammonia wastes. This microbial remediation product also helps to reduce the amount of flush water normally used in waste troughs by liquefying the sludge. For example, when Safe-One™ is added to a collection pond, it completely breaks up the sludge, turning it into a liquid for easy pumping. This liquid can then be used as a spray-on soil enhancement similar to compost. When used in composting, Safe-One™ accelerates the decomposition of organic material and reduces airborne dust.
Safe-One™ can also help accelerate the breakdown of animal waste and poultry litter by facilitating the decomposition of the proteins. The decomposition process is a chemical change: urea changes into ammonia which then turns into nitrate. The final by-products are nitrogen (released into the atmosphere) and water.
